Best way to judge a solution

Forgive the newbie here, but what’s the best way to just someone’s solution to a lab? I was looking at some solutions for a lab and someone’s comment about a solution having to many GC pairs.

Doesn’t have any requirements to limit the number of GC pairs and someone’s solution had a great melting point and energy but someone’s comments said they ought to remove some of their GC pairs.

Is there a problem? Did I missing something?

This at least gives me some idea why the solution I looked at, which contained all GC pairs, is actually not the best solution to the lab.
