I had a message from Malcolm about a puzzle solved. Went to the puzzle and saw in the bottom left of the UI, “The YouTube Flash API was officially deprecated on January 27th, 2015.”
Don’t know if this has any connection to the chat not connecting.

The chat server is currently down. Devs have been notified, though I’m not sure how long it will take to get things back online. I’ll post an update here if I hear any news.
@whbob: That message started appearing a day or two ago; it probably isn’t related to the chat issue. But thanks for reporting it.
