email validation doesn't know about all top level domains

the support forum does not understand that email address I have in my profile, “[someone]@[somewhere].NAME” address is valid, but has no problem with “[someone]@[somewhere].COM”. Come on guys, get up to speed already, those TLDs have been around for YEARS.
