New Password Request Error on Front Page

Could not log in - requested new password but got an error:

* warning: stream_socket_enable_crypto(): this stream does not support SSL/crypto in /persistent/drupal/html/sites/all/modules/smtp/phpmailer/class.smtp.php on line 197.
* Unable to send e-mail. Please contact the site administrator if the problem persists.

When trying to post this problem, the request new password did work from here!

Running a iMac i7, 2.8 GHz, 8gb, 10.6.5 - latest Firefox.

At present EteRNA is undergoing the server migration. We are looking into your problem (#288in the bug tracker) .
