test scores?

Where can I find out more about the scoring? If I get, say 75 out of 100, is that good or is it more like getting a C on a test? Is it possible to try again? If so, how can I analyze my solution to make it better?

Hi Lynn,

I assume you are talking about “Synthesis score” in lab?

The second video in this page describes how we decide synthesis score for each experimental result.

There is no such thing as grades based on this score. We consider it a success when someone gets 94 or more but all other designs which get less than that score is valuable resource for all of us to study how RNA folds in nature and how we can improve RNA designs.

Thanks.

Yup – my favorite solutions have a score of around 87, because usually we can learn exactly one thing from them!
