EteRNA Class Time: Basic Javascript

I’m doing a basic Javascript course on this coming Wednesday (3/26/14) at 7 PM EST, or immediately after the dev chat. It’ll cover the basics of Javascript, including but not limited to data types, flow structure, conditional logic, objects, and functions. It’ll also somewhat cover, as part of learning about functions, a small introduction to the EteRNA documentation. It’s intended to be a supplement to jnicol’s EteRNA Scripting classes.

List format idea stolen taken from one of nando’s forum posts:

  • Title: Basic Javascript

  • Topic: An all-around crash course into Javascript

  • Format: EteRNA’s scripting interface and chat. Possibly Codecademy Labs.

  • Level required: You can read and type. Knowing basic math (+ - x /)

  • Preferable: Wanting to learn more about Javascript.

  • Wednesday 3/26/14 at 7 PM EST
