More Important RNAs

With so many known RNA proteins known for disease why are so many non clinical RNA structures being studied? Why not study Telomere related RNA (http://rnajournal.cshlp.org/content/1…)?

Interestingly, other folks in my lab and collaborators are studying that RNA and we are discussing potential connections to EteRNA.

However, at this first stage, due to limited experimental throughput, we are trying to put challenges on EteRNA that might reveal new principles of RNA folding and design that could apply to all RNAs.

In an upcoming stage, our throughput will be increasing – and in that case you (or labs who are focusing on telomerase) will be able to propose and then be responsible for projects focusing on those molecules. Stay tuned!

Thank you! Sounds exciting.
