Hello y’all! I helped develop this nifty nucleic acid structure modeling kit - originated by the late RNA pioneer Mahlon Hoagland - and here I am advertising it. It’s nifty because the double helix has realistic mechanics (bendy & twisty & sturdy). It’s a modular cartoon (phosphate-sugar-bases). Playing with it, I have discovered previously unpredicted potential pseudoknots in a couple RNA structures… I’m planning to offer kits with eterna-themed color coding, if there’s any interest. The startup is partially funded by a kickstarter that ends in <1 week (4 February)!!! Check it out: a kit of eterna parts is one reward. http://kck.st/48wsRmG
