Ribonanza - October 10th seminar

A large increase in structural data may be needed to solve RNA secondary and tertiary structure prediction. The Ribonanza challenge involves chemical mapping profiles for 2.1M diverse sequences, a rigorous train/test split, and prizes totaling $100k for top predictors in a Kaggle challenge, with a deadline of Dec. 7, 2023. The sequences reflect a wide range of RNA structure modeling applications including 3D design, scanning viral genomes for complex structures, riboswitch and ribozyme prediction, mutate-and-map and compensatory rescue experiments, and more.
