Spamming of collections

In view of recent spamming of the Player Created Collections, I suggest players should have to meet some basic criterion to be able to post a new collection.

In order to help prevent scamming, would it be possible require the player to have solved at least one puz before being able to send messages?

For info, any spam I have received the players have no solved puz in their profile.

Have you received spam through a direct message?

A couple of messages from 0 points players - not necessarily just direct to me.

Also, I have received several messages, probably new players (zero points) just sending ‘rubbish’ words, which I just ignore.

Not direct messages to you personally, good.

Jonathan has implemented a new antispam package on the game registration page that has reduced daily registrations by 80%. This should greatly reduce spam on the Eterna website. DM me if you run across spam and I will delete it.

Also, Jonathan performed a spam wipe on the wiki. The spam wasn’t much of a problem from the user perspective, but the web crawler traffic was bogging down the server. Let us know if you run into any issues using the wiki.
