The current goal is a stable shape attached to an open loop of a specific pattern. The GU bond doesn’t seem to add stability to the lab shapes, or perhaps it isn’t yet known how to use it for stabilization. So, in this case, a lab strategy would be to use few or none. So deduct some amount from the score for every GU bond.
