[Strategy Market] [Switch] Percentages of A’s.

Here is a strategy that aims to reward good A percentage levels. EternaBot already gets in a good range most of the time. Thumbs up! But I think this could improve it a bit.

A’s percentage for turnoff labs

Reward a A’s percentage range of 29 to 35A’s percentage. Penalize increasingly for higher and lower A’s percentage.

Give +2 to designs in the 31-33% A percentage range.

Strategy Background

I played a bit around in the fusion table of the round 95 data.

All the exclusion labs

I set the Eterna Score a bit lower than I normally would, since many of the top scorers are not in the winning range, when I also sets limits on cluster count.

Since there are more high scoring microRNA labs, I set the eterna score higher.

They go a bit lower than the exclusion labs, but I basically think they can use same area of A’s percentage. A good range is around 29-35%.

The same state (turn on) labs are harder to place as they are more spread. For now I let them be covered under the strategy for turnoff labs, since the main part of the high scorers belong there.

Thx to Omei for making the Fusion table that I used for getting the current A’s percentage of last round of ms2 switch labs.

Thx also to Salish, Brourd and Jandersonlee for making statistics and graphs on the A repeats issue.

Dear Eli Fisker,

Your strategy has been added to our implementation queue and we should have it completed within the next two to three weeks. You can check the status of the implementation here.

We will also be uploading the code used to write your strategy on this page if you are interested in reading it later.

After implementing your idea, we will post the direct link to the code here. Then, we will then optimize the parameters, and test it. At that point, we will tell you the correlation of how good your strategy was and what the new optimized parameters are.

Thanks for sharing your idea!

Dear Eli Fisker,

I am pleased to announce that a preliminary version of your strategy has been implemented with 7 lines of code. The code might slightly change in the future to remove bugs, but you can check the current version here. We will soon work on optimizing your parameters and testing the strategy.

Thank you again for sharing your switch strategy!
