What role does that particular RNA sequence fulfill in the virus? The “Science” description for the problem only describes what Human Integrated Adenoviruses are, and does not describe the role of that particular RNA sequence in the context of the adenoviruses.
Viruses tend to infect organisms by injecting their nucleic acids (DNA, RNA) into a host (human) cell. My guess is that an adenovirus injects DNA into a host cell, which then gets transcribed into RNA. That RNA can then code for proteins that will make the host cell sick.
