Here is my explanation of what dot plot is. I have added it to the dictionary now too.
Basically a dot plot is two sequences plotted into a graph, the one sequence the structure that we want, the other structure what we actually end up with after lab results. Each dot represent a nucleotide and if both sequences (RNA letter sequences) the ideal and the actual, matches each other, all of the dots on both sides of the line will mirror each other exactly.
