Hi. I wanted to share the link to this database with everyone. It is a database of mutations to the 23s and 16s rRNA and their effects on lab viability. The database has not been updated since 2000 and unfortunately is not searchable. But, hopefully, it will be helpful to someone.

Thanks for the list! Eli and I came across something similar to this last year and I’d lost track of it. I’m making a design with non-IUPAC mutations and would like to assess whether the mutations are known to be problematic, so I’ll search each position using the Find function. Took me a minute to notice 16S and 23S are combined. Sure would be helpful if the database got updated.
