The points you earn by playing Eterna, will get you access to participate in making real RNA in lab. If your lab design gets votes enough and you have a good shot in the Eterna History Tour lab which is an introductory lab for new players, your RNA will get folded for real in a Stanford lab. You will get results back on how well it folds in real life. This way we can learn about what works. Where as the puzzles you solve now, runs on a RNA folding simulation.
You unlock lab at 10000 points. Also you unlock the ability to make puzzles at 20000 points.
